It's been about 6 months since I learned that I was accepted into the University of Leuven, Belgium's Malta Summer School for this summer. Now that it's exactly a month until I'll be arriving on the island, I decided it might be a good idea to set up a blog to keep track of my work and thoughts on the project.

I'll use the blog as a platform to organize the random ideas bouncing around in my head as I try to decide exactly what I want to gain from the experience and what questions to ask while I'm there. It will also give me something to look back at as the project changes dimension and morphs into the research it will end up being - somehow always different from any preconception I start out with.

Also, this will give me a chance to stay in touch with you all. So read and comment if you wish, share ideas and ask questions. The more I have to explain the better I'll understand what I'm doing, myself.

So, there you have it. Here's the beginning of the experience. Let's see where it goes.
